Zuflucht is the only natural interface between the Regency Safe and the Islands. The modest downport is extremely busy, as RQS/RPKF personnel are shuttled in and out of the Islands, and local traders vie for few billets made available to them aboard naval logistic and transport ships. The world sustained only minor damage during the Islands War, though it attracted a large refugee community from worlds like Topas and Berlichingen. The predominant local language is a German dialect, mixed in with Galanglic and German common to the refugee population.
