Hkiyererao Survey Ship

design by Pete Grey

Hkiyererao was introduced just prior to the Imperial Civil War, as a design to be used by exploration companies and mining firms to search, survey and assess mineral deposits and other natural wealth sources. In comparison to the Kteiroa class Seeker, the Survey ship is rather luxurious, requiring double occupancy only during a full survey mission. The class is not normally armed, except on long range surveillance missions. Most examples of this class are used either in the support of frontier regions, surveying regions for new settlements and aid in the development, or for surveillance and recon operations along the Great Rift, often reconoiterring suspected Viral bases and refueling points.
